Candida alibicans is a detrimental yeast/fungus that is found in the human body — even healthy ones. When our natural flora becomes out of balance (dysbiosis) harmful organisms have the opportunity to proliferate and can make us sick. Since the cell walls of detrimental fungi like Candida albicans are made of fiber, fiber-digesting enzymes can take them apart this causes them to die without the unpleasant Herxheimer reaction (a response to endotoxins released at the death of harmful organisms within the body). Another benefit of anti-fungal enzymes is that the yeast will not develop a tolerance as they might with antifungal herbs or drugs.
Candex™ contains cellulase and hemicellulase to break down cell walls while amalase and glycoamalase break down carbohydrates before they ferment and exacerbate the yeast overgrowth. Invertase breaks down sucrose that feeds detrimental yeast. It does not contain protease and may be taken in conjunction with probiotics. In fact, probiotic use is encouraged.
Candex has been helping people with Candida overgrowth for ten years. It has even been studied in a human trial. It works quickly, too. Within seven to ten days most people see some improvement of their symptoms although, depending on the severity of the problem, it may take longer for full balance to be achieved. It is suggested that you gradually taper off to ensure that the Candida is back to healthy levels.
It is very important to take Candex on an empty stomach since the enzymes will break down fiber in the meal rather than yeasts. If you must eat something, make sure there is no fiber consumed at the same time Candex — no fruit, veggies or grains. Meat and dairy do not contain fiber. Candex is safe enough for children and even dogs and cats, as long at the dose is adjusted for their weight: one capsule daily for every 40 pounds of body weight.
