Legend has it that during World War II, British Royal Air Force fighter pilots ate bilberries before night missions to enhance their nocturnal vision. Though such benefits in this case are purely anecdotal, bilberry’s polyphenols and potential health benefits of this small member of the blueberry family are not. Our Bilberry Extract provides 25% anthocyanins, a richly-pigmented, natural plant compound. Anthocyanins have been studied in research and may support eye health, vascular and blood health.
